THIS SUPPLEMENT TO THE 1978 BIBLIOGRAPHIC GUIDE FOR PROSECUTORS INCREASES THE RESEARCH AIDS AVAILABLE TO THE PRACTICING PROSECUTOR, REFLECTING THE NEEDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AVERAGE DISTRICT ATTORNEY.
Abstract
THE BIBLIOGRAPHY IS DIVIDED INTO TWO SECTIONS: PUBLICATIONS AND AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS. THE PUBLICATIONS SECTIONS LISTS 220 BOOKS, MANUALS, AND PERIODICAL ARTICLES, WHILE THE AUDIOVISUAL SECTION LISTS 92 FILMS, VIDEO TAPES AND CASSETTES, AND AUDIO TAPES AND CASSETTES. THE SECTIONS ARE DIVIDED BY SUBJECTS WHICH ARE LISTED ALPHABETICALLY. AMONG THESE SUBJECTS ARE ARRESTS, ARSON, CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, CHILD ABUSE, CIVIL-LEGAL LIABILITY, CLOSING ARGUMENT, CONFESSIONS, CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, AND CONTEMPT. OTHER SUBJECTS INCLUDE COUNSEL, CRIMINAL LAW-PROCEDURAL AND SUBSTANTIVE, CROSS-EXAMINATION, DEFENSES, DEMONSTRATIVE EVIDENCE, DISCOVERY AND DISCLOSURE, AND DISCRETION, WHILE STILL OTHERS ARE ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE, ENTRAPMENT, EXPERT WITNESS, INCOMPETENCE AND INSANITY, OFFICE MANAGEMENT, PLEA NEGOTIATIONS/BARGAINING, PORNOGRAPHY, PRISONERS' RIGHTS, AND SPEEDY TRIAL, TERRORISM, WHITE COLLAR CRIME, AND WITNESSES.
