Data on convictions indicate main groups of offenses, number and amounts of daily rates for monetary fines, and prior convictions. Figures on juveniles tried and convicted cover main groups of offenses, types of judgments, separate offenses, types of penalties, and prior convictions. An appendix provides an extensive list of the offense types prosecuted in 1978 and general figures on the size of the population subject to prosecution by age. --in German.
