Permutations are introduced, followed by examples, problems, and solution frames. The major topics considered are (1) introduction to the concept of permutations, (2) notation used in the calculation of permutations, (3) factorials, (4) definition and symbol for 'combination,' (5) determination of the number of duplications of an arrangement, and (6) zero factorial. The frame number on which each topic begins is provided. In addition, a worksheet has been included with the program to give students more experience with the types of problems discussed. The worksheet may be duplicated for use along with the program; answers to the problems are included in the teacher's guide. Instructions for presentation and a script are also included.
