Designed for the individual California police officer in a police education course, the filmstrip and accompanying audio cassette and workbook cover part two of a lesson on California criminal law regarding theft.
Abstract
The lesson teaches the officer to identify the corpus delicti for Penal Code (PC) 487 and 488 crimes, to identify two basic tests for the valuation of stolen property, to describe three considerations which may affect fair market value, to diferentiate between agricultural produce and agricultural commodities and their relationship to PC 487 (1), and to differentiate between antiques and heirlooms and describe their probable bases for valuation. The cassette instructs the officer when to use the workbook and how to check the answers. The workbook includes a posttest and an instructor's key. For part one of this lesson, see NCJRS 75372.
