Abstract
Types of materials included are sources for criminal statistics, directories related to criminal justice, criminology research centers located in Canada, indices to periodical literature, criminology journals, and bibliographies on criminology. The periodicals chosen are interdisciplinary, scholarly journals with a particular focus on research in criminology. Official organs of police and government administration were excluded. The research centers listed represent the major teaching and research institutions for criminology in Canada. Only comprehensive bibliographies were included. Only materials focused on Canada are included; items which are produced in other countries but include information on Canada are excluded. Each entry includes availability information and an annotation. About 45 publication and research center descriptions are provided. Entries for items published in French are also included.
