Data are derived from the computerized data base developed by the Correction and Parole Management Information system. The tables are intended to provide an overview of commitment, criminal history, and background data on admissions from courts to correctional facilities at Walpole, Concord, and Framingham. This report is one of a series intended to answer questions regarding specific characteristics of the resident populations of the Massachusetts correctional institutions. A glossary is provided.
