This volume lists Federal, provincial, and territorial justice-oriented programs across Canada that are specially designed for or available to Native Canadians.
Abstract
The programs are concerned with alcohol and drug abuse, Native courtworkers, Native diversion, legal aid, Native policing, community-based residential centers, and other services. The following information is presented for each program listed: purpose of program, program authorization and administration, method of service delivery, target population, program duration, resources, and contact person. Approximately 140 programs are identified. The programs are listed in the following order: Federal, territorial, and provincial from west to east. Sections and program names under each section are arranged alphabetically.
