Directory of Postsecondary Education Programs - 1981 Edition

This directory lists postsecondary education programs offered in the Federal prison system to inmates who have successfully completed their secondary education and want to continue their studies.
Abstract
The programs are listed by regions. Most courses offered in the institutions are provided by colleges, universities, and technical schools, although a few are offered through correspondence. Under Federal Prison System regulations, inmates must pay for college courses from personal resources, basic education opportunity grants, veteran's education benefits, or other tuition assistance sources. For each correctional facility, the directory lists the educational institution offering the course, the degree program (if any) for which the course applies, major areas of study, and nondegree courses available.
