The department's agriculture division produces food commodities sufficient to feed the inmate and employee population, supplies raw materials for use in industrial operations, and provides work experience for inmates. The treatment division has a work furlough program, a prerelease program, a social services program aiding inmates in obtaining employment upon release, and human resource programs.
