This slide/tape program can be used to train security officers at all types of health care facilities in fire prevention and control techniques.
Abstract
It is designed to enhance knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The program teaches security officers about the conditions and objects that create fire hazards, makes them aware of the importance of routine inspections, and gives them basic procedures for controlling fires as well as safety rules. The program includes exercises for participants and a leader's guide, which provides additional training points, learning objectives, and a script.
