The Maryland Division of Parole and Probation began a number of special projects during 1980, including the developing of the OBSCIS II Management Information System, participation in a National Accreditation Project, and evaluation by private consultants of the differentiated caseload management system and the criminal investigation services of the division.
Abstract
At the end of 1980, 50,019 offenders were under supervision, and 21,215 investigations had been completed. Descriptions of division activities and operations focus on the Public Information Office, the Equal Employment Opportunity Office, and the Bureaus of Administrative Services, Field Operations, and Policy and Program Development. Statistical tables and organizational charts are included. A directory of agency offices is appended.
