Abstract
The future of data security, and the issues of privacy, encryption, the inability to understand and control large systems, incorrect data, physical protection, political terrorism, antisocial use of computer systems, foreign links to computer systems, and inhibitors to progress in these areas are all covered. Ten innovative and controversial proposals are presented as suggestions and as starting points for future discussion of the issues. (Publisher abstract)
