Abstract
The MDRC is a nonprofit organization founded in 1974, which manages and studies demonstration programs to increase the long-term self-sufficiency of disadvantaged groups in our society. Its demonstration activities over the reporting year were concentrated in the areas of welfare dependency, teenage pregnancy, youth employment, and employment of the mentally retarded. Financial statements, an auditor's report, and a listing of MDRC publications conclude the report. Tabular data are given.
