Abstract
It explains police communication systems (how a call is transferred from the police station to the patrol car), traffic law enforcement duties, and how police patrols deter crime. The film highlights police academy training, which all future patrol officers must undergo, giving examples of classroom lectures, self-defense, weapons training, car and motorcycle driving techniques, and even helicopter training for those who go into this area of work. Other aspects of police training shown include computer training, traffic accident handling methods, emergency first aid, disaster management techniques, and methods to disarm a dangerous individual.
