Abstract
The husband's denial as to the seriousness of his abuse slowly changes after he is forced to discuss the situation with the District Attorney's Office. Throughhout most of the film, the husband discounts his actions as having been the cause of his wife's disappearance. The husband is unable to discuss his feelings very coherently and resorts to violent actions to let out his frustration and anxiety at his wife's disappearance. The drama occurs in a rural setting.
