Total reported criminal offenses in Oregon decreased 4.7 percent in 1982, compared to 1981.
Abstract
Index Crime decreased 7.2 percent compared to the previous year, but 21 more murders were reported in 1982 than in 1981. Tables and charts provide data on all offenses distributed by type, total criminal offenses distributed by metropolitan counties and three largest cities, arrests, State Index crimes, driving under the influence arrests, State 5-year offense profile, law enforcement personel, assaults on law enforcement officers, and other relevant information.
