Abstract
An introductory section explains the factors which have inhibited the expansion of alternative dispute resolution and the types of delays currently experienced in litigation. Five types of alternative dispute resolution are defined: arbitration, mediation, conciliation, private judging, and the minitrial. Each service listed includes information on the types of services offered, fees, a brief history of the particular organization, addresses, telephone numbers, and contact persons.
