Abstract
It discusses the development of plans for teaching physically handicapped persons, lists hints for helping visually and hearing impaired persons, describes the Telephone Device for the Deaf (TDD) and how to operate it, and considers the special needs of mobility impaired persons when selecting a meeting location for planning the crime prevention program. Also included are the alphabet in American Sign Language; brief descriptions of a sampling of available training aids; and listings of products and services as well as the names, addresses, and phone numbers of resource organizations.
