Ninety-eight percent of the officers were white males, and nearly 90 percent were under the age of 35. Further, 60 percent completed at least 1 year of education after high school. Statistical data concerning prior experience and administrative, investigative, and patrol functions are reported. Finally, the performance frequency for seven selected physical activities is noted.
