Using Iowa's Uniform Crime Reports, this volume presents extensive data tables showing both raw figures on reported crimes and arrests in the State from 1976 through 1982 and rates per 100,000 population.
Abstract
Total Part I crimes reported, the percentage change in crimes reported by population category, and rates and changes in rates of reported crime are shown. Also included are breakdowns by county, by city size, for rural areas, by sheriffs' jurisdictions, by judicial district, and by season. The distribution and dollar amounts of property crimes are also reported. An index and population data are also supplied. For a second volume comparing Iowa with national patterns, see NCJ 97054.
