Six sections of alphabetized listings are provided. The first lists municipal agencies and departments in the United States and identifies the county where each agency is located. The second section lists each county sheriff's office as well as independent city sheriffs; the third section provides a roster of all district attorneys and chief prosecuting attorneys in the United States. Section four consists of an inventory of the various State police departments and highway patrols, as well as a roster of correctional institutions and agencies, State attorneys general, and State investigative agencies. Section five lists Federal law enforcement agencies and addresses for their headquarters and regional offices. The final section lists Canadian law enforcement agencies, including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and all of the provincial and municipal agencies.
