Abstract
It covers three general subject areas: (1) biological, psychological, and environmental influences on child development; (2) biological, physiological, and medical factors associated with brain functions and central nervous system disorders; and (3) biological, psychological, and sociological factors related to mental disorder and crime. Most of the documents listed were published from January 1966 through June 1984. Some documents published prior to 1966 are included because they provide important background information in certain subject areas. The listings include books, research papers, literature reviews, journal articles, and dissertations. Each entry, identified by a number, is followed by a series of topic codes specifying the primary subject matter of that entry. The appendix presents a hierarchical listing of the subject headings used to classify the contents of the entries. An index links subject headings in the hierarchical listing to bibliographic entries.
