Abstract
Drug-interdiction statistics for both fiscal years and calendar years address general law enforcement contraband seizures (1973-92), marijuana interdictions (1984-92), and cocaine interdictions. Other calendar year data are for drug seizures by geographical region (1991, and January 1, 1992 through March 31, 1992), marijuana interdictions by vessel nationality (1991-92), and monthly summaries of marijuana and cocaine seized (1981-92). Other drug-interdiction data pertain to drug eradication assistance; interdictions under the United States-United Kingdom agreement; Navy assistance to Coast Guard drug enforcement; the use of disabling fire in drug enforcement; and boarding, violations, and interdiction information for fiscal years 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992. Statistics on illegal migrants encompass the number of illegal migrants interdicted by migrant nationality for fiscal years 1982-92 and calendar years 1981-92; illegal Haitian, Dominican Republican, and Cuban migrants for calendar years 1981-92; and migrant interdictions for fiscal and calendar years 1984-92. Statistics on fisheries law enforcement address seizures and forfeiture for October 1, 1985 through March 31, 1992, and boating while intoxicated.
