Abstract
The report also provides estimates of the area of poppy cultivation for the production of opium, the approximate quantities of opium to be harvested, and cultivation of the opium poppy for use in making morphine. Tables focus on the manufacture of synthetic drugs. Actual figures are provided for 1982-85, and estimates are shown for 1986 and 1987. The drugs discussed include cannabis, cocaine, codeine, methadone, morphine, heroin, and many others. The data are presented by drug, by year, and by country. Tables
