Abstract
A POCKET TAPE RECORDER IS USED FOR FIELD INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES BY THE PALM BEACH COUNTY (FL) SHERIFF'S OFFICE. THE OFFICE OF HEARINGS AND APPEALS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR ADOPTED THE AUDIO CASETTE RECORDING SYSTEM WHICH PERMITS TAPING OF SIX HOURS OF TESTIMONY WITHOUT A SINGLE STOP FOR TAPE CHANGE ON TWO 60-MINUTE TAPES ON WHICH THREE HOURS OF INFORMATION ARE COMPRESSED.
