Annotation: THIS REPORT, DATED APRIL 16, 1973, ANALYZES THE RECORDS CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE BELLINGHAM (WA) POLICE DEPARTMENT AND MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING RECORDS SYSTEM EXPANSION AND UPGRADING.
Abstract: RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE FOR RECORDS MANAGEMENT IN DISPATCHING, FIELD REPORTING, RECORDS UNIT, AND COMPUTER CENTER. FLOW CHARTS OF NEW RECORDS PROCEDURES ARE APPENDED. THE BELLINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYS 62 OFFICERS AND TEN CIVILIANS AND SERVES 40,000 PERSONS.
