Abstract
THE CHAPTER DISCUSSES THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SYSTEM, COVERING THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THE PROSECUTOR OPERATES, THE SYSTEM'S CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS, THE IMPLEMENTATION APPROACH, AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROMIS SYSTEM'S FUNCTIONS. FACTORS AFFECTING THE SUCCESS OF PROMIS IMPLEMENTATION AND SOME OF THE BENEFITS PROVIDED BY PROMIS ARE ALSO DISCUSSED. FORMS USED WITH THE PROMIS SYSTEM ARE INCLUDED.
