Abstract
SIXTEEN COUNTRIES PARTICIPATED IN THE SEMINAR AS SPEAKERS, ONE COUNTRY AS AN OBSERVER. THE SPEAKERS PRESENTED INFORMATION ON THE BREADTH AND SCALE OF NARCOTICS USE IN THEIR COUNTRIES. THEY EXPLAINED WHICH DRUGS THEY CONSIDERED LEGAL AND WHICH THEY CONSIDERED ILLEGAL. THEY ALSO DISCLOSED WHAT MEASURES WERE BEING TAKEN TO CONTROL ILLEGAL DRUGS. THE PARTICIPANTS INCLUDED POLICE NARCOTICS EXPERTS AND GOVERNMENT DRUG OFFICIALS. THE COUNTRIES INCLUDED BANGLADESH, BRAZIL, COLOMBIA, ECUADOR, INDIA, INDONESIA, IRAQ, KOREA, MALAYSIA, NEPAL, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, SINGAPORE, SRI LANKA, THAILAND AND TURKEY....BS
