THIS PAPER PRESENTS A REVIEW OF RECENT LITERATURE FOLLOWED BY MEDICAL HISTORY SUMMARIES OF SEVEN MINOR PATIENTS WHO COMMITTED ARSON.
Abstract
THEIR ACTIVITY RESULTED FROM DIFFERENT PSYCHOPATHOLOGICAL GROUNDS. THE AUTHOR POINTS TO THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE SYMPTOM AND NOTES THAT DIFFERENT TYPES OF SUCH CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR CAN BE ENCOUNTERED IN INDIVIDUAL PYROMANIAC PATIENTS, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE PATHOLOGICAL ARSON MAY BE CONNECTED WITH OTHER BEHAVIOR DISORDERS.
