HYSTERICS DO NOT BELONG TO THE MOST FREQUENT TYPES OF DELINQUENT PSYCHOPATHS, ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE MANY CRIMINOGENIC QUALITIES.
Abstract
THEY MOSTLY COMMIT BORDERLINE CRIMES, SUCH AS MAKING FALSE ACCUSATIONS. SOME REPEATEDLY COMMIT BURGLARIES OR SWINDLE PEOPLE. HOWEVER, THE PRESENCE OF MORE PSYCHOPATHIC TRAITS MAY INCREASE DANGEROUSNESS IN THE HYSTERIC. FINALLY, THE COMBINATION OF HYSTERIC TRAITS WITH SCHIZOID AND AGGRESSIVE TRAITS IS ESPECIALLY SERIOUS. TWO REFERENCES ARE INCLUDED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
