THESE QUESTIONS COVER THE CRIMINAL CODE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, PATROL METHODS AND TECHNIQUES, INFORMATION GATHERING AND REPORTING, THE CRIME SCENE, THE ARREST, AND HANDLING SPECIFIC CALLS (BURGLARIES, TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS, DOMESTIC DISTURBANCES, AND JUVENILE INCIDENTS). THE TESTS ON THE CRIMINAL CODE COVER FELONIES, MISDEMEANORS, TRAFFIC OFFENSES, SALE OF CIGARETTES TO MINORS, NARCOTICS OFFENSES, THEFTS OF MOTOR VEHICLES, AIRCRAFT, BOATS, AND BOAT MOTORS, MURDER, SEXUAL OFFENSES, TRESPASS, NUISANCE, AND JUVENILE OFFENSES. THE PATROL METHODS TESTS COVER SEARCH AND SEIZURE, FOOT PATROL VERSUS PATROL CARS, CRIME PREVENTION, COMMON COMPLAINT CALLS, AND PRECAUTIONS WHICH SHOULD BE TAKEN BY THE OFFICER. THE OTHER SECTIONS COVER GATHERING OF EVIDENCE, INTERVIEWING SUSPECTS AND WITNESSES, PRESERVING THE CRIME SCENE, AND WORKING WITH SPECIALISTS IN CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. POLICE COMMUNITY RELATIONS ARE EMPHASIZED THROUGHOUT. TEST QUESTIONS ARE GIVEN, BUT NOT THE ANSWERS. (GLR)
