Abstract
The service categories to be found in each of 21 counties are aging, alcohol abuse, crime compensation and restitution, crisis intervention, dispute resolution, domestic violence, drug abuse, emergency food and shelter, employment and vocational training, handicaps, health and counseling services, legal services, rape and sexual assault, rental assistance, victim and witness units and services, and welfare and financial assistance. In addition to the address and telephone number of each agency, each entry also has a characterization of the kind of services rendered. The appendixes contain listings of crisis intervention services, Hispanic service organizations, the New Jersey hot line, victim/witness units and resource persons, municipal-based victim/witness assistance units, and an update form.
