Abstract
PART OF A TRAINING AND ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR COURT CLERKS AND COURT PERSONNEL, THIS BOOKLET IS BASED ON CALIFORNIA LAW AND MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE TO OTHER STATES. DESIGNED AS A SELF-INSTRUCTIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM, THIS BOOKLET INTRODUCES ONE NEW VOCABULARY WORD AT A TIME, FOLLOWS IT WITH A CONCISE DEFINITION, AND THEN PROVIDES AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE TERM MEANS AND HOW TO USE IT IN A PROPER CONTEXT. THE LESSON ENDS WITH A 'SELF REVIEW' EXERCISE WHICH ENABLES STUDENTS TO TEST THEMSELVES ON THEIR COMPREHENSION OF THE TERMS.
